5 apps for when you can't feel time passing
Time blindness is not bad planning — it is not being able to feel an hour go by. Each of these makes time visible a different way: as a shape, a countdown, several timers at once, a record after the fact, or a date far enough ahead to matter.
The apps for when you can't feel time passing are Structured, Due Pal, MultiTimer, Toggl Track and Countdown. I built Due Pal; the other 4 are other developers’ apps.

Structured
★★★★★★★★★★4.0 · Free · Productivity · App Store 4.8 (167,069)
Structured draws the day as one vertical timeline, every task a block — so a full afternoon looks full before you promise it away.
Skip it if you want repeating tasks — they need Pro, which is most of the point of a daily timeline, and the lifetime option people were saving up for has gone.

Due Pal Editor’s pick
★★★★★★★★★★4.5 · Free · Productivity · App Store 5.0 (1)
Due Pal takes the day's anchor points and keeps a countdown to the next one on screen: a shape shrinking, rather than a number to interpret.

MultiTimer
★★★★★★★★★★4.0 · Free · Utilities · App Store 4.7 (15,632)
MultiTimer runs several labelled timers at once, so the laundry, the oven and the ten-minute break stop fighting over one timer.
Skip it if you need the timers to fire while you are in another room — reviewers report them not going off reliably, which is the whole job.

Toggl Track
★★★★★★★★★★4.0 · Free · Business · App Store 4.8 (9,580)
Toggl Track is one tap to start and one to stop, synced across devices — and at the end of the week you can see where the hours actually went.
Skip it if you switch between phone and desktop — reviewers report the two counting time independently, and being signed out every few days.

Countdown
★★★★★★★★★★4.0 · Free · Utilities · App Store 4.8 (187,656)
Countdown works at the other end of the scale: days and months until the thing you're waiting for, sitting on the lock screen.
Skip it if the widget is the reason you want it — reviewers who paid for premium mostly write about it failing to refresh.

Due Pal is one of mine — everything else on this list is someone else’s app. How that works.
