Wardrobe October 2026
5 apps for when you have nothing to wear
“Nothing to wear” usually means a full wardrobe and no idea what goes with what today. These five come at it from different sides: ideas for what to put together, a record of the outfits that worked, the forecast turned into clothes, a way to let go of what you never reach for, and somewhere to sell it on or find something secondhand.
The apps for when you have nothing to wear are Pinterest, OOTD Pal, Weather Fit, Declutter and Depop. I built OOTD Pal and Declutter; the other 3 are other developers’ apps.

Pinterest
★★★★★★★★★★4.0 · Free · Lifestyle · App Store 4.8 (5,793,335)
Save outfit ideas to boards and pull them up when you're stuck.
Skip it if you mainly want to browse your own boards — reviewers say ads now take up much of the feed, and some long-time users report accounts deactivated with little explanation.

OOTD Pal Editor’s pick
★★★★★★★★★★4.5 · Free · Photo & Video · App Store 5.0 (6)
Snap the outfits that felt like you, so you can recreate them later.

Weather Fit
★★★★★★★★★★4.0 · Free · Weather · App Store 4.6 (3,795)
A character dressed for today's forecast, so you know before you look.
Skip it if you run warm or want it free — reviewers find the outfits pitched for people who feel the cold, recent updates put more of the app behind payment, and some cities return no weather at all.

Declutter Editor’s pick
★★★★★★★★★★4.5 · Free · Lifestyle · App Store 5.0 (7)
Photograph what you're letting go, keep the story, then say goodbye.

Depop
★★★★★★★★★★4.0 · Free · Shopping · App Store 4.8 (1,040,355)
Sell what you never wear, and buy secondhand pieces for less.
Skip it if you want a person to help when a sale goes wrong — reviewers describe templated support, orders that never ship, and seller accounts suspended over counterfeit claims with no clear way to appeal.

OOTD Pal and Declutter are mine — everything else on this list is someone else’s app. How that works.
